"Nisiros", named after a Greek island near to Rhodes, is a yacht with the solid and dependable feel often found in yachts built in the 1990s. Jeanneau yachts of that time were particularly well built with good internal joinery, comfortable accommodation and good sailing performance.

On Deck

The sails are easily handled with roller furling on jib and main.  The mainsail is new for 2010 hence no im-mast furling problems.

The engine is a Yanmar 50 hp which will comfortably give 7 knots.

 Below Decks

"Nisiros" has two double aft cabins, one with a third child’s berth, the usual fore cabin, an up and down bunk cabin, and forward and aft heads, both with shower. The saloon table to port will seat eight and the galley to starboard has cooker with oven and fridge   For the crew’s comfort in wet or cold weather hot air heating is fitted.

Navigation equipment includes an electronic chart plotter, GPS, the usual wind, water and depth instruments, VHF, Admiralty charts, pilots for the cruising area and an Almanac.  Over the companionway is a robust spray hood to provide out-of-the-wind shelter for the crew.  The yacht carries an outboard for the inflatable dinghy and all the required safety equipment.  To comply with regulations the yacht carries a life raft, life jackets and all necessary safety equipment.
